Steps needed


1. Create an account at openshift and download necessary tooling (https://developers.openshift.com/en/getting-started-overview.html)

  1. Create your own application
rhc app create <your app name> nodejs-0.10 --from-code=http://github.com/schmalle/nodepot.git
  1. Add redis database to your application
rhc add-cartridge http://cartreflect-claytondev.rhcloud.com/reflect?github=smarterclayton/openshift-redis-cart --app <your app name>
  1. ssh into your application

  2. copy files around as needed and start Nodepot

sh/bin/bash ./app-root/repo/openshift/openshiftstart.sh

Note: Steps 2 & 3 can be also done by use the supplied createopenshift.sh script.
