Requirements


- plain Ubuntu 14.04 server or newer
- 8 GB harddrive / space free
- some memory

Prepare the host


1. install docker

$ sudo apt-get -y install docker.io
$ ln -sf /usr/bin/docker.io /usr/local/bin/docker
$ sed -i '$acomplete -F _docker docker' /etc/bash_completion.d/docker.io


2. prepare shares

$ mkdir config
$ mkdir data
$ mkdir logs
$ sudo mount -t vboxsf config ~/config/
$ sudo mount -t vboxsf data ~/data/
$ sudo mount -t vboxsf logs ~/logs/

Note: All shares must have been named the same in your Virtualbox installation.


3. start docker

$ sudo docker run -name nodepot_ins -p 8889:8889 -t -v /home/flake/data:/data -v /home/flake/config:/config -v /home/flake/logs:/logs -i honeynet/nodepot /bin/bash


4. start nodepot (default config)

$ redis-server &
$ cd /opt/Nodepot
$ nodejs app.js
